Damon Sinuka: Creating Your Own Path

Damon Sinuka, 25, hails from Queenstown in the Eastern Cape. He attended Clever Kids, Queenstown Preparatory School, Queens College Boys' Primary, and Royal Academy Private School. Damon completed his Sports Management qualification at Walter Sisulu University and enrolled in Project Management at Tshwane University of Technology in 2022.

Passionate about personal health, Damon enjoys learning about human anatomy, staying active, and taking walks to rejuvenate his body. In his free time, he explores astrology, driven by his curious mind. His passion for sports began at age 4, introduced by his grandfather. Damon has participated in track events (100m and 200m), squash, cricket, swimming, and rugby, where he currently plays as a utility backline player.

Damon values his relationships with his grandfather and close friends. He is dedicated to self-improvement and avoids wasting time on tasks. He believes in using his twenties to create milestones and played in the Curry Cup in 2017. For him, 2022 was a fresh start, requiring adjustments and new connections in an unfamiliar environment.

Rugby has taught Damon valuable life lessons, including dealing with rejection, patience, and resilience. He has good presentation skills and confidently overcomes challenges. Damon believes in a well-balanced life and defying societal norms. He is competitive and emphasizes the importance of capital.

Active in politics, Damon has contested for PA. In the future, he aspires to play professional rugby and achieve a sustainable income for his future family.
