Al Ahli Tripoli Crowned 2025 BAL Champions in Electrifying Finale

The halftime show featured an electrifying performance by Pitori’s own Focalistic, keeping the crowd energized for the second half. In the final stretch, Al Ahli Tripoli extended their dominance, pulling away to secure a historic victory, defeating Petro de Luanda 88-67 to claim the 2025 BAL championship.
As part of the night’s celebrations, NBA legend Tracy McGrady presented the Dikembe Mutombo Defensive Player of the Year trophy to APR’s center, Aliou Diarra, recognizing his outstanding defensive contributions. Additionally, Petro de Luanda’s shooting guard, Mouloukou Souleyman Diabate, received the Manute Bol Trophy for Sportsmanship, honoring his exemplary conduct throughout the tournament. BAL President Amadou Gallo Fall and FIBA President Annibal Manave share their remarks on the winners and congratulate the runner up. The Hakeem Olajuwan MVP award for the season goes to Jean Jaques Boissy.
For the first time in BAL history, the 2025 champions received an official Championship Ring, crafted by Victor Solomon, a design inspired by legacy, pride, and the spirit of Africa, marking a new era for the league.
